Submission Guidelines

Manuscript Types:
Specify the types of manuscripts you welcome, such as:

  • Original Research Articles: Detailed studies that provide new insights in environmental and sustainability sciences.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive summaries and analyses of recent developments in specific areas.
  • Case Studies: Focused reports on specific instances relevant to environmental issues, sustainability practices, or technological solutions.
  • Short Communications: Brief reports on significant preliminary findings or new techniques.

 

Manuscript Preparation Requirements:

Title Page: Title, author names, affiliations, ORCID for all authors and corresponding author contact details

Abstract:

  • Provide a concise summary of the research, highlighting the main objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • The abstract should be between 150–250 words and written in a way that is accessible to a broad audience.

Keywords:

  • List 4–6 keywords that represent the main topics of the research.
  • Keywords will aid in indexing and improve the article's discoverability.

Introduction:

  • Present the research background, significance, and objectives.
  • Clearly state the research question or hypothesis being addressed.

Methods and Materials:

  • Describe the methods and materials used in the study in sufficient detail to allow replication.
  • Include details of experimental procedures, equipment, data collection methods, and statistical analyses.

Results:

  • Summarize the main findings of the study, presenting data in a clear and logical order.
  • Use tables, figures, and graphs as needed to effectively convey the results, with appropriate legends and captions.

Discussion:

  • Interpret the results in the context of existing research, highlighting their implications and limitations.
  • Discuss potential applications, significance, and future research directions.

Conclusion:
Summarize the main findings of the study, their implications, and possible directions for future research. The conclusion should provide a clear and concise statement of the study's contributions to the field of environmental and sustainability sciences.

References:

  • ACS Style: References must be formatted according to the American Chemical Society (ACS) style, including full citations with author names, year of publication, title, abbreviated journal name in italics, volume in bold, issue (if applicable), page numbers, and DOI (if available).
  • Numbered In-Text Citations: In-text citations should follow a numbered format, appearing in brackets according to the order of appearance in the manuscript (e.g., [1], [2], [3]).
  • Reference List Order: References should be numbered sequentially as they appear in the text, with each citation corresponding to the reference list. The reference list itself should be formatted according to ACS guidelines but numbered to match the in-text citations.

Example:

In-text citation format: "Research has shown significant impacts in this area [1]. Additional studies corroborate these findings [2], [3]."

Reference list format:

  • [1] Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (Year). Title of the article. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), page range. DOI or URL.
  • [2] Author, C. C. (Year). Title of another article. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), page range. DOI or URL.
